have been in the industry for a while with our kids, and we have noticed (it) is lacking in a lot of areas. For example, I been looking for workshops, said Findlay, who has a daughter who is a dancer, actor, and singer.

about 13 years I have been looking for workshops and stuff to train her not only in dance but in acting and vocal and auditions. So, that the purpose of our Mash workshop, because there is nothing out there like us.

Findlay said having this agency allows them to bring small town talent to the bigger cities.

are going to be connecting and networking with people in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Toronto. We are trying to make those connections to give the kids in the Prairies those opportunities they have never had, she explained.

Findlay and Lapointe met because of their daughters being invited to the same show in Barcelona. After becoming friends, they talked about the struggles that can come for the talented kids in the Prairies.

we can do this. So, we just started it up, she said. are both really passionate about that, and about helping not only our kids, but all the other kids. There are so many hungry kids who just have nowhere to go. So, we are going to find a place for them to go. noted it has been the last four months in the making to get their dream to a reality.

started doing some market research probably six months ago, and then we started going four months ago, and have been going non stop ever since, said Lapointe.

Services include full service intake, audition awareness, casting call awareness, audition chaperoning and much more.

are looking for emerging talent, so obviously we aren looking for the people that already have made it or are with agents. We are looking for emerging talent in all areas acting, singing, dancing and modelling, said Findlay.

aren going in to be competitors with them, we are going in to add something new that lacking, she said.

The talent selection in their agency will be hand picked by the two owners, as well as a panel when auditions happen.

selection will be based on who we feel like would represent Flair Talent Agency properly, and who we feel like we would be able to develop them into someone we could be proud to put out there too, said Lapointe.
